Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are the Fuel of RMVR!

Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing has conducted vintage racing events in Colorado for decades, and there is one significant constant: Our volunteers provide the fuel that keeps the club running. Without the folks who tech cars, stand watch in corner stations, run timing and scoring, and a perform a myriad of other functions, it simply wouldn’t happen.

Volunteering is a great way to watch racing ‘up close and personal’, and many of today’s racers spent their first years with RMVR as volunteers. Racers, too, whether waiting for an unobtainium part or simply wishing to give back, often raise their hands to volunteer.

RMVR provides training for volunteers, both ‘on the job’ and through a pre-season Fire & Rescue School. Volunteers received numerous event benefits, including meals and overnight accommodations. And volunteers need not be members, but can earn RMVR membership through the 100 Hour program.

It’s not all working events, either. Members can run for Board positions, or raise a hand to serve as Chief of one of many special positions within the club.
