PPIHC Vintage Division Automobiles News Update
April 6, 2010 – The field is filling in nicely for the PPIHC Vintage Division Automobiles, but there are still entry slots to fill. We have received twelve race entries so far and have room on the grid for eight more. So far we have five returning racers, including the 2009 and 2008 returning champions Keith Davidson and Douglas Mockett. One of the exhibition class racers from 2009, Charles Breed has joined the Vintage Division Automobiles this year with his 1958 Lister, and we welcome the addition. We also have new racers from Arizona, California, Colorado, and Washington joining us for a first time this year. The new drivers are bringing a pair of BMW 2002′s, 1971 Datsun 240Z works replica, 1970 Chevrolet Camaro, and a 1953 Lincoln Cosmopolitan. The field is shaping up to be the most diverse to date for the Vintage Division Automobiles. Please, if you are considering entering the event send in your information as soon as possible. We have received enough entries to initiate the Racer Rebate Program, a unique feature added this year to help control event expenses for all participants.
