Eligibility Matrix and Governing Documentation

In order to apply for an RMVR Log Book and car number, the car must be prepared appropriate to the rules for its class. To help you find the governing rules, please refer to the matrix below which has links to all the appropriate documents.

Cars Prepared for Historic Designation
Cars prepared to these special RMVR specifications can receive special designation and are eligible to run in a special “Historic” run group if at least 12 cars are entered for any given race weekend. Otherwise, Historic cars run in regular race groups.

Cars Conforming to Other Race Organizations
RMVR does provide for cars prepared to some sanctioning bodies other than SCCA (e.g. Trans-Am, FIA, IMSA, Can-Am). But documentation of the car’s period correct preparation is up to the applicant and acceptance is discretionary.
