Workers and Marshalls

Volunteers are what makes RMVR tick! Pure and simple, there would be no racing without the fantastic job that our collective volunteers perform every race weekend. There are several different, important, and fun jobs performed by our crack team of workers and marshals.

Tech workers look over a car in the pitsIf you are interested in helping, come join the fun. We can always use the help and workers always have fun. Maybe some of these all-important support activities would appeal to you. All you need to do is join RMVR, ask, and show up.

The great thing is that it's easy to get involved with this aspect of RMVR racing - Flagging and Communications, Pit & Grid, Equipment, Timing & Scoring and Tech are but some of the specialties performed by our able workers and marshals.

Corner workers during a raceAs to training you, we can handle it. Throughout the year there is fantastic on-the-job-training available every race weekend. Also, each Spring we conduct our nationally acclaimed Fire and Rescue School, more often referred to by twisted minds as our Crash and Burn School. All joking aside, it is truly an educational experience.

Information on some of the specialties is available below, and feel free to contact any of our chiefs of specialties for more information.

Current versions of the following browsers are more secure and support numerous web standards including CSS, XHTML, and the DOM (a universal means of controlling the behavior of web pages):

While this page is intended to suggest some good options for upgrading your browser, please note that this is not an exhaustive list of browsers that support web standards, nor a test of browser compliance. Also, we do not intend to recommend a particular manufacturer's browser; only to suggest upgrading to a browser version that gives you the best and most secure browsing experience.
