To help promote legal Formula Ford engines, racers are asked to have their engines certified as Legal. In return they will receive a special Legal & Proud FF/CF sticker for their car. Read more about this program at Formula Ford Legal & Proud. You can participate in this program at any stage of your car's ownership, now or later. Your participation is strongly encouraged.Does the car have a Legal & Proud Certification?YesNoAre you interested in seeking Legal & Proud certification in the future?YesNoPlease attach a copy of your Legal & Proud certificationFuel DeliveryFuel Delivery Type*CarburatorFuel InjectionManufacturer*Type*Number of Carburetors*Barrels per CarburetorBarrel or Choke SizeRestrictor Diameter (if required)Only production cars designated as Historic are exempt from having a fuel cell.Fuel Cell Manufacturer*Fuel Cell Type, Model or SFI Rating*Fuel Cell Capacity*Transmission/TransaxleTransmission Make*Transmission Type*Number of Forward Gears*Rear Axle Make*Rear Axle TypeBrakesHave there been any modifications to the original brake system?*NoYesDescribe brake system modifications:*Front Brake Type*DiscDrumFront Brake Caliper Material*SteelAlloyFront Caliper Manufacturer*Front Caliper Number of Pistons*Front Brake Rotor or Drum DiameterFront Brake Rotor Thickness or Drum Width*Front Brake Location*OutboardInboardRear Brake Type*DiscDrumRear Brake Caliper MaterialSteelAlloyRear Caliper Manufacturer*Rear Caliper Number of Pistons*Rear Brake Rotor or Drum Diameter*Rear Brake Rotor Thickness or Drum Width*Rear Brake Location*OutboardInboardWheelsFront Rim Diameter*Front Rim Width*Front Rim Material*SteelAlloyFront TIre Size*Front Tire Aspect*Please refer to the rules for allowable aspect ratiosRear Rim Diameter*Rear Rim Width*Rear Rim Material*SteelAlloyRear Tire Size*Rear TIre Aspect*Please refer to the rules for allowable aspect ratiosTire Make & Compound*Please refer to the rules for allowable tiresModificationsOriginal Body?*YesNoDescribe body modifications:*Original Suspension?*YesNoDescribe suspension modifications:*Original Intake System?*YesNoDescribe intake system modifications:*Original Transaxle?*YesNoDescribe transaxle modifications:*Original Cylinder Heads?*YesNoDescribe cylinder head modifications:*Original Transmission?*YesNoDescribe transmission modifications:*Original Rear Axle?*YesNoDescribe rear axle modifications:*Roll Bar 2" Above Driver's Helmet*YesNoRoll Bar?*NoYesRoll Cage?*NoYesRoll Bar/Cage MaterialRoll Bar/Cage DiameterRoll Bar/Cage ThicknessCollapsible Steering Column?*YesNoSFI Approved Clutch Scatter-Shield?*YesNoProduction Body-Frame in Compliance?*YesNoDescribe production body-frame modifications:*Fender Flares in Compliance?*YesNoDescribe fender flare modifications:*OEM Steering System in Compliance?*YesNoDescribe OEM steering system modifications:*Front Suspension in Compliance?*YesNoDescribe front suspension modifications:*Rear Suspension in Compliance?*YesNoDescribe rear suspension modifications?*TransponderTransponder Number (if the car has a MyLaps/AMB transponder)Desired Car NumberNote that 1 and 2 digit numbers are not usually available. Please indicate at least one 3 digit preference.1st Choice*2nd Choice*3rd Choice*Log BookA "Provisional" Log Book may be issued. The purpose of a Provisional Log Book is to permit race cars which are only slightly out of conformance with RMVR regulations to race during a grace period in which to remedy any eligibility issues. If the excepted items are believed to produce a significant performance differential, the car may be placed temporarily in a more appropriate faster or slower class. The grace period, the sooner of six races or one year from issuance of the Provisional Log Book, provides the owner ample opportunity to rectify the noted items. When all items are corrected, it is incumbent upon the owner to request a Regular Log Book. If all the noted items are not corrected by expiration of the grace period, the car will not be eligible to enter RMVR events. Even after a car is approved for Eligibility, it is strongly suggested that first-time applicants contact the Chief Tech Inspector and make arrangements to have the car inspected prior to the first racing event to verify that required safety systems are in place.
